Great location and fun hotel!

The staff were very friendly and the 24/7 pantry (incl. beers) was a huge bonus. Being able to do a load of washing was great. The instructions in the bathroom re: whether the toilet could handle toilet paper could be clearer.

Great location, wish I’d made it up for breakfast, lovely staff

I liked the location of the hotel as it was very convenient to walk around Saigon. The room was spacious for me and would have been fine for a couple as well (I was a solo traveller).

The room was a bit noisy - not from within the hotel but there was a weird noise outside that kept me up for several hours. After spending most of the following day trying to find ear plugs I gave up, only to find that reception had some when I enquired - wish I had enquired earlier and had a good nights sleep the following night.

Well located, generous food and drinks, wonderful staff and well maintained property.

Location, staff, pantry and rooftop area were all amazing. Nice range of pillows to choose from. Annie D was incredibly helpful at the front desk, as was everyone.

Little tricky maneuvering up and down platforms of bed and toilet.

Location was good, service was good, friendly staff… very nice and comfortable place to go back after a long day of walking. Breakfast was good, coffee was good too

Delightful stay at The Hammock in HCMC!

Great central location. Near to Ben Thanh Market. Very nice, quirky, hipster-like hotel. Room was nice and spacious with a hammock! Amenities were fantastic! Free water, beer, juices, and other types of beverages. Free laundry! Breakfast food was decent. Wonderful rooftop views and chill space! Great value for the money!

Breakfast food could have been better, but nothing to complain about.

Great value for money with strategic location

I like the offering of the free flow snacks, drinks and instant noodles. Location is located at a very strategic area right next to multiple tourist attraction. The staff are very well mannered and never failed to wish you good morning

Understand that due to the strategic location located in the city centre, there is only one lift in the facility. It is not a deal breaker of any kind, however do plan ahead if you are rushing to head out as the lifts will be very packed and occupied during peak hour.

Highly recommended hotel to stay with a value for money fopr location.

Overall, this is a very well rounded hotel. Location, price, comfort, cleanliness. 10mins walk to Bitexco, Saigon Centre, Ben Thanh Market. 15mins to Bui Vien. Many local eateries within the 5-10mins radius. A local food cart right outside the hotel and 2 cafes within the nearest corner.

The room and toilet could do with abit of touch up. And there were ants on my door frame. The toilet is lightly dim due to the warm daylight bulbs there were using. Perhaps a higher wattage bulb could be used to brightened up the toilet. Eg 5W to 7/9W bulbs.

Modern, stylish hotel with great amenities and a fantastic rooftop - I loved it

I really loved my stay at the Hammock. Very stylish and modern hotel. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was exactly as shown on the pictures. Free water, coffee, tea, instant noodles in the room, and lots of other drinks incl. beer as well on the 9th floor where you can also go up a fantastic rooftop to chill and enjoy a Saigon view. Breakfast really good, 3 options everyday to choose from that change daily. From Japanese to Korean to Vietnamese to Western options. Loved it. Wifi fast and reliable. There were also washing machines free to use but I didn't use them. The hotel is nearby all the major sights in D1. A museum with paintings and changing galleries directly almost across the street. Everything is walkable, location is fantastic. Food options around everywhere.

Only one complaint: There were no light options nearby the bed. So if you go to bed you need to turn off the main lights but then you are in complete darkness. You cannot leave them on and turn them off when you're in bed, there's no such switch nearby.
